The work of the Mental Health Foundation of Australia (Victoria) to promote mental health, provide education to assist in the prevention of mental illness and to remove stigma associated with mental illness, is dependent on the generosity of community and corporate donors.

The Victorian State Government provides funding for limited support for the coordination of Mental Health Week, the Mood Disorders Support Group, and the telephone support service.
